SALT LAKE CITY – The Utes shot 59.7 percent from the floor (34-67) and had three hit double-figures in points to lead the University of Utah women’s basketball team to an 88-58 win over UC Davis on Tuesday in the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah (8-3) won its seventh straight home game and is now enjoying its best non-conference mark since 2012-13. The Utes never trailed the Aggies and this was Utah’s highest-scoring output of the season (the highest was a 95-point effort against CSUN on Dec. 2, 2015).
The Utes outrebounded the Aggies 47-28 and Utah also earned a 44-28 edge over UC Davis for points in the paint with a 20-2 edge in second-chance points.
