SALT LAKE CITY – Four Utes reached double-digits in points, and two recorded double-doubles, to lead the University of Utah women’s basketball team to a 78-63 win over Fresno State on Saturday in the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah (6-3) won its sixth straight home game to start this season. Eighteen of the Utes’ 23 field goals were assisted and Utah shot 33.3% (7-of-21) from 3-point range. Utah shot 42.6% (26-61) from the floor as a team, while holding Fresno State to a 32.3% mark (20-62). The Utes outscored the Bulldogs by 14 (24-10) in the third quarter to take control of the contest.
