SALT LAKE CITY – Redshirt sophomore forward Emily Potter turned in a double-double with 29 points and 12 rebounds to help the University of Utah women’s basketball team pick up a 77-69 exhibition win over Fort Lewis at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Friday in Lynne Roberts’ debut as Utah’s head coach.
“It was a pretty typical exhibition game, in that there were moments where we looked really good and moments when we didn’t look very good,” Roberts said. “Fort Lewis was really scrappy and fearless. They did a really nice job. Some good, bad and things to work on, and that’s what these games are for.
