SALT LAKE CITY – Redshirt sophomore forward Emily Potter turned in her second double-double this season and the sixth of her career with career highs of 25 points and 18 rebounds as the University of Utah women’s basketball team earned its third straight victory 74-62 over George Mason on Friday in the Huntsman Center.
Utah is off to its first 3-0 start since 2012-13. The Utes secured a 50-40 advantage in team rebounds over the Patriots. Seventeen of the Utes’ 26 baskets were assisted and they held a 40.6 (26-64) to 30.0 (21-70) edge in shooting percentage over the Patriots.
