EUGENE, Ore. – Redshirt sophomore Emily Potter registered her 17th double-double of the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds to go with five blocks, but the University of Utah women’s basketball team came up short in a 73-63 contest at Oregon in the third round of the WNIT on Wednesday at Matthew Knight Arena.
Utah (18-15) earned a 16-9 edge in second-chance points over Oregon and the Utes also enjoyed a 10-4 advantage in bench points over the Ducks.
Potter turned in 21 points off a 7-of-12 shooting performance and a 7-of-9 night from the line.
