It was another successful bye week for the Utes, at least in terms of getting healthy and making some moves in the rankings. After Penn State lost to Minnesota this past week, the Utes jumped up a spot to No. 7 in the second round of CFP rankings. Utah is right behind Oregon, and within striking distance of the top 4.
At the top, no surprise that LSU jumped into the top spot after the win over Alabama this past Saturday. Also, no shocker that ‘Bama is just outside the top 4, and of course, they are within striking distance of getting a bid, even if they don’t win their division.
