SALT LAKE CITY – The calendar has turned to November in the NFL, bringing Week 9 into focus.
Across the league, 30 Utah Football alumni are on NFL rosters with 23 Pro Utes on active rosters. Though there's plenty of football still to play before the postseason, division races are in full swing and five division-leading clubs have at least one Utah connection.
In addition to on the field, former Utah Utes are making their mark on NFL sidelines as well. Former quarterback Brian Johnson (2004-08) is now on the Los Angeles Rams' staff as a senior offensive assistant, while Utah signal-caller Mike McCoy (1992-94) has joined the Las Vegas Raiders as assistant head coach.
