LAS VEGAS — To anyone that watches Utah play, it's easy to recognize the game revolves around center Jakob Poeltl. But behind Utah's recent success and surge at the end of the season is a concerted effort to play more as a team.
Against USC in the quarterfinals round of the Pac-12 Tournament, Utah found success as a team, with each player having his time to shine. Poeltl was consistent in the post as a target USC couldn't ignore, Kyle Kuzma broke out of his slump and led the team with 23 points, and Brandon Taylor hit a clutch deep 3-pointer to stave off a surging Trojans team late in the game.
