The Utes took to the road for the first time this season, and they performed well in the loss to Xavier by a score of 77 to 69. Going into the game, the Utes have played well throughout the season thus far, but I wasn’t real sure they’d be able to take that on the road, and sure enough they did. The Utes just couldn’t get over the hump, but they were within striking distance most of the game.
In the first half, the Utes fell behind by 15 points, but just chipping away at the lead until they trailed by 9 at half.
