The Utes really needed this one, after the four game losing streak, and they got it, and really played a nice 40 minutes to get it. Sure, they didn’t pull away when Washington was begging them to, but they also kept the Huskies at arms length, and really had a start to finish victory over a good Washington team.
Everything that Utah struggled with in LA they were better at tonight. They held UW to 2-of-18 from three, with one of those two coming late in the game, and out rebounded UW by 6. Utah defense was good overall, holding UW to just 38.
