SALT LAKE CITY — Five years into its new conference, Utah has now checked every team in the Pac-12 off its win list. The latest came on the road against a Washington team that had an 8-0 record against Utah all-time and was surging at the right time behind its conference-leading defense.
Utah willed its way past the Huskies Saturday in a 34-23 victory to improve to 8-1 on the season behind a big fourth quarter effort. While its play execution was not perfect over the duration of the game, Utah still controls its destiny and has the experience and talent needed to escape close games.
