SALT LAKE CITY — It’s been an offseason of transition for the University of Utah men’s basketball team, with several players moving on from the program as a result of graduation, transferring to another program or declaring for the NBA draft early.
On Tuesday, Utah announced that its director of men’s basketball operations, Phil Cullen, has accepted a front office position with the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA.
“I am very happy for Phil and would like to thank him for both his commitment and energy that he brought to our basketball program,” head coach Larry Krystkowiak said in a prepared statement.
