Apparently, a lot of college football fans wanted to tune in and see Jim Harbaugh’s coaching debut with the Michigan Wolverines. According to SI’s Richard Deitsch, last night’s contest between UM and Utah drew 2.868 million viewers, which is the most in Fox Sports 1′s two-year history.

The Utes prevailed, 24-17, despite a late rally by Michigan.
It isn’t much of a surprise that the game posted good numbers – Harbaugh’s arrival in Ann Arbor has created a lot of buzz.
