Last season Dominique Hatfield was called upon to help the Utes out at cornerback. Playing defense wasn’t anything new to the Utes wide receiver as he had played defense in high school and was recruited by Coach Shah. However having spent his first couple seasons on the offensive side of the ball, the 5’10 175lb Jr went from running routes to covering routes and made what some may say was a seamless transition. Taking a business like approach to the switch, Hatfield immediately became a starter and showed constant improvement week in and week out.
