The Utah Utes added another signee late on National Signing Day with Sione Vaki. Vaki was named the NorCal Player of the Year at Liberty High School in Brentwood, Calif.
He was a two-way star for Liberty in high school. The Utes like him on defense at safety. He is yet another under the radar recruit that Utah always seems to pull in and develop into an All-Pac-12 caliber player. He was pursued heavily by the Washington State Cougars, who were interested in him on offense. He also held offers from the Tennessee Volunteers and USC Trojans among others.
