SALT LAKE CITY — Utah moved up in the national rankings Monday after picked up a 36-23 win over Arizona Saturday night.
Utah moved up to No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, improving from last week’s No. 24 ranking.
Joining the Utes in the AP Poll from the Pac-12 is No. 5 Washington, who appears to be the conference favorite and outside contender for the College Football Playoffs. Washington dominated Oregon Saturday, beating the Ducks 70-21, ending a 12-year losing streak. Washington remains the only unbeaten team in the Pac-12.
Falling out of the rankings from the Pac-12 were Stanford, who lost to Washington State 42-16, and Colorado, who lost to USC 21-14.
