SALT LAKE CITY — The second College Football Playoff rankings of the season was released Tuesday, and Utah improved its position among committee members.
The College Football Playoff committee followed voters from the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches Poll and moved the Utes up on a bye week. Utah moved up to No. 15, jumping up one spot from last week’s No. 16 ranking after the program’s close loss to Washington.
