SALT LAKE CITY — Utah had a 20-point fourth-quarter rally to beat the Arizona State Sun Devils Saturday to remain undefeated. The win snapped a near 40-streak against the Sun Devils, made Utah bowl eligible and helped their case again in the national rankings as Utah moved up in the polls.
Utah moved up to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll and stayed at No. 7 in the Amway USA Today Coaches Poll for the third straight week. Utah was previously ranked No. 4 in the AP Poll.
Utah received 16 first-place votes in the AP Poll for the second week in a row, which is second only to Ohio State who received 28 first-place votes.
