TEMPE, Ariz. — It is a really good thing the first 15 minutes weren't any indication of how Utah was going to do on the road against Arizona State.
The Utes fumbled on their first two possessions and, if not for some stellar bend-but-don't-break defense, fell behind 13-0 early.
The running game wasn't working. Utah's defense was giving up too many big plays.
But give credit to Utah's coaching staff for making some much needed adjustments to help Utah get a 49-26 road win over Arizona State to keep the Pac-12 South division title in reach.
