BOULDER, Colorado — “The Rise” is real for the Colorado Buffaloes and are a game away from claiming what was seen as an improbable South division title run. But Utah is looking to play the spoiler role after their own South division run was upset by Oregon.
Utah senior wide receiver Tim Patrick said he wants to spoil the Colorado fun on Saturday, keeping them from their first appearance in the Pac-12 championship game since joining in 2011.
“We’re playing the No. 9 team in the country at their place and they’re going to be jumping because it’s going to be their first time having the chance to go to the Pac-12 championship,” Patrick said.
