Utah just landed a commitment from one of the fastest high school football players in Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta three-star cornerback Javelin Guidry. Guidry chose Utah over Texas among others. Guidry was committed to Houston under former head coach Tom Herman but decommitted after Herman took the head coaching job at Texas. Guidry took an official visit to Austin last weekend and Utah the weekend before that. Many thought he would follow Herman to Texas, so this is a huge get for Utah to land him.
