Utah gymnastics had an opening for assistant head coach after Meredith Paulicivic left to be the head coach at Ohio State. It was announced last Monday that Robert Ladanyi, an assistant at Florida and Denver before coming to Utah, would replace Paulicivic. He also previously coached the Romanian Junior National Team.
"We are thrilled to announce Robert Ladanyi as our new assistant coach," said Utah co-head coach Tom Farden. "He is an outstanding coach with a championship pedigree and will be a wonderful addition to our staff. He helped Florida win three NCAA team titles and Denver had its best season in school history this past year.
