The Utah Football program is known for funneling players into the NFL, in fact, according to a study done by CFB Matrix, Utah is tied for the number 1 team in the country in developing NFL talent. This should serve as good news for this weekend’s NFL draft hopefuls. In recent history, Ute alums have had major success in the NFL. Eagles cornerback Eric Rowe earned a starting job his first year with the team. Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was a key member of an historic run that ended in a Super Bowl appearance. Defensive tackle Sealver Siliga, now a member of the Seattle Seahawks, even won a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots.
