Junior receiver Monte Seabrook has tweeted and informed coaches that he will be transferring from Utah football in search of more playing time.
The Newberry, Fla., native never quite found his niche at Utah, arriving as a defensive back but switching positions to running back and then receiver — not often finding the field at either role. In two years at Utah, he made three tackles as a special teams player.
Seabrook came to the Utes as a multi-sport star from Newberry HS, a 1A first-team all-state back who played basketball and set his school's record in 300m hurdles.
