The Utes are getting a 6-foot-1, 292-pound defensive tackle who Maughan said is cut from the same cloth as at least one successful Snow-to-Utah lineman: Tenny Palepoi.
"He's is own guy, but with his explosiveness, a guy who comes to mind is Tenny," he said. "He's really explosive in the interior, and he's the guy you have to pay attention to. He's kind of like Tenny is that he's the guy who is always doing his job, always in the right place, and just as far as his attitude and the way he carries himself."
