Utah has went down under again to find a player, but this time it’s not a punter. Utah announced the signing of Thomas Yassmin, a three-star rated (247sports.com) athlete on Tuesday. The 6’ 4”, 240 pound Aussie is listed as a tight end and I’ve seen reports that he can run a 4.5 40-yard dash. Utah’s offense doesn’t really feature tight ends anymore, so it’ll be interesting to see how a player like this could factor into offensive plans. I know last year Harrison Handley didn’t get many chances to contribute to the passing game, and I thought he was very talented.
