Utah has been on fire in the recruiting game over the past week or two, and it has kicked up a notch on Wednesday night with the commitment and mid year signing of 4-star safety Corrion Ballard of Blinn College. The 6-foot 2-inch safety had offers from Nebraska, Texas Tech and Ok State, and those three schools were all finalists for Ballard’s services, along with Utah.
The signing of the safety is at minimum an insurance policy if Marcus Williams decides to head to the NFL, at best, the Utes just bolstered their safety depth with the addition of Ballard.
