Over the weekend, Utah quarterback Donovan Isom has elected to transfer from the program to FCS program Southeastern Louisiana.
The redshirt freshman first announced the move on Twitter on Saturday afternoon: "Excited about the new opportunities and being closer to home."
Isom sought to move closer to his hometown of Destrehan, La., after a fire destroyed his family's home last month. His mother and grandfather were able to escape from the blaze, but the damage to their homes was catastrophic. A GoFundMe page for the family has raised $9,465 over the last month since the fire.
