Looks like the AP and Coaches Polls are copying one another, at least when it comes to the Utes. The Utes settle in at No. 18 this week, just like in the Coaches Poll. Utah is joined by the same two Pac-12 teams in the poll, with Washington and Stanford, who meet up Friday night up in Seattle. The No. 18 Utes will be going to take on Cal in the Bay Area on Saturday afternoon, and will have a chance to continue to move up in the polls.
For the Pac-12 to have a shot at the Playoff this season, the conference can’t cannibalize itself too much, although, that’s likely going to happen, as it usually does.
