The Utah football team enters week 4 of camp. There are six practices left in spring (including the closed practices on Thursdays). There will be another scrimmage on Saturday Apr. 16 at 10 a.m. to noon at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Head coach Kyle Whittingham said after last week's scrimmage that the final scrimmage before the spring game is the most important in spring. This week's scrimmage will be similar to the first one with roughly 90 plays, including "drives from the 30-yard line (No. 1 offense vs. No. 1 defense and No. 2 offense vs. No. 2 defense), punts, short yardage (third down and two, third and one, fourth and one), drives from the 50-yard line, kickoffs, red zone and punt returns" per Utah's official press release.
