The Utah Utes may have fallen to the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday night, but they got some good news on Sunday. The Utes managed to flip two players formerly committed to the rival BYU Cougars. Both players hail from Herriman High School in Herriman, Utah. The first to flip was three-star offensive tackle Jaren Kump followed by three-star tight end Tevita Fotu. Fotu is the younger brother of Utah sophomore defensive tackle Leki Fotu.
Kump had been committed to BYU for over a year, originally committing to the Cougars in June 2016 before decommitting from BYU in August.
