It was announced today by director of athletics Dr. Chris Hill that the University of Utah and head football coach Kyle Whittingham have agreed to two-year extension on his contract through the 2020 season. The contract extension includes a pay raise for Whittingham. He will now be paid $3.3 million per year.
"We are excited about the contract extension for Coach Whittingham and look forward to continued success in the Pac-12 Conference under his leadership," said Hill.
While the relationship between Hill and Whittingham received publicity last offseason, it appears they are past that and are working together for the future.
