SALT LAKE CITY — A tale of two sides is defining Utah’s spring football camp.
Under the helm of Coach Kyle Whittingham, the University of Utah football team is known for its big, physical defense. Last year the Utes led the Pac-12 in overall defense, and two years ago “Sack Lake City” was introduced to the nation as Utah racked up 55 total sacks.
This year is no different.
Utah’s defense is dominating spring camp, and one of the keys to success is returning seven starters to an experienced defense.
“I think we have a chance to be good,” Whittingham said in an ESPN700 interview.
