FULLERTON, Calif. -- Sedrick Barefield had 26 points, including four 3-pointers, and Donnie Tillman scored 14 to help Utah to a 75-66 victory over Grand Canyon on Friday night in the consolation bracket of the Wooden Legacy.
Barefield hit three 3s and scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half.
GCU (3-3), which trailed by as many as 16 in the first half, used a 10-2 spurt to trim its deficit to 35-29 at the break and pulled within one when Matt Jackson hit a jumper midway through the second.
