Want to know what a recipe for disaster looks like? Combine a bad historical matchup, a ton of unforced turnovers, the inability to complete defensive possessions (i.e. give up offensive rebounds), and lose your identity all in one game, and that's what you get from Utah against Oregon on Saturday night.
Both teams were coming off of emotional overtime wins in the Pac-12 semis, but Oregon was able to rebound much better than Utah, both literally and figuratively. Early in the first half, Utah and the Ducks were trading blows, and it appeared it was going to be a slugfest, and then the avalanche of turnovers came for Utah.
