Back in December, the Runnin' Utes were in New York City, at Madison Square Garden, taking on the Duke Blue Devils when TV star Jimmy Fallon was approached by Larry Krystkowiak's wife and was challenged to wear a Utah hat if Utah won the game. Well, Utah won the game, and for weeks following the game fans were tweeting at Fallon to #wearthehat. Weeks came and gone and no hat was worn.
Fast forward to this week when Fallon was on KSL TV for an interview, and the hat bet was brought up. Fallon did own up and wear the hat, although, the hope was for him to wear it on The Tonight Show, so while he wore the hat, technically, he kind of copped out and didn't wear it on his show.
