"The last couple days weren't easy this last week," Krystkowiak said, taking some responsibility for marginal practices. "Maybe we got what we deserved just from not being as dialed in and as professional as we needed to be. So it was a learning experience for me, a learning experience for our guys, and the important thing is it didn't kill us and we're all healthy."
At 1-3, the Utes aren't dead yet in a parity-driven conference race. But taking an L against visiting Oregon State would certainly set them back much further in that goal. Utah has already set itself up with a razor-thin margin for error, and if they can't bounce back against the Beavers, they'd then have to take another road trip through Washington state, and try to steal some games there.
