The Runnin' Utes have their first commitment for the 2016 class in hand.
The Tribune has learned Jojo Zamora, a 6-foot-2 guard from Yuba College, committed to the Utes during his official visit to the campus this weekend. He's expected to add depth to Utah's backcourt after the departure of several four-year seniors next spring.
Zamora comes to the Utes from Yuba, a successful junior college which has produced more than a few solid prospects for the Aggies up north. As a freshman, he was an offensive force averaging a team-leading 18.3 ppg, 4.0 apg and adding 1.
