SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah track and field team will send four athletes to the NCAA West Preliminary Championships, hosted by Kansas from May 26-28. The Utes will be represented by freshman Andrea Chavez and sophomore Sarah Feeny in the 1,500, senior Ali Eisenbeiss in the 800 and freshman Chrissy Glasmann in the javelin.
The top 12 athletes in each event will advance to the NCAA Championships, hosted by Oregon from June 8-11.
"We have a lot of experience at this meet," Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said.
