TEMPE, Ariz.- Andrea Chavez and Ali Eisenbeiss captured the top two spots in the 800 to lead the Utah women's track and field team at the Baldy Castillo Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
"I really think our upperclassman showed up today and did a really great job," Utah head coach Kyle Kepler said. "Both Andrea (Chavez) and Ali (Eisenbeiss) ran times in the 800 that should get them into the NCAA Regional meet later this year. It is great to get that out of the way early and now we can go train hard and focus on getting better and more versatile.
