Fotu, a 6-1, 225 pound hammer of a middle linebacker was 6A first-team all-state with 90 total tackles and 2 interceptions for the Miners. He hits like an absolute mack truck. He sheds blocks well and is good in coverage. This is a nice in-state pickup for the Utes.
Fotu ranks No. 7 in Utah, the No. 43 safety, and the No. 1,025 overall according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking.
