SAN FRANCISCO – Utah student-athlete Luis Macias recently represented the university at the Pac-12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) meetings.
Macias, a member of the Mexican Junior National squad, swims for the Utes and earned a top-20 finish in the 200 fly at last season's Pac-12 Championships. Prior to Utah, Macias was a medalist at the North American Challenge Cup and competed at the FINA World Junior Championships.
The Ute junior stated that his goal is to become a CEO and own his own company after becoming the first member of his family to receive a degree.
