CARSON, Calif. — Former Southern Utah and BYU quarterback Ammon Olsen completed 7-of-13 passes for 71 yards to lead the National team to an 18-17 win over the American squad Saturday in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif.
Olsen was the top passer for the National team. Missour kicker Andrew Baggett kicked six field goals in his squad's win, including a 22-yarder in the fourth quarter that proved to be the difference.
Utah quarterback Travis Wilson got the start for the American squad, leading his team on a 12-play drive on the first series that ended in a field goal.
