“Everything is art…Your clothes, voice, language, hair, living space, all express who you are on a basic human level, it’s how we understand each other,” said Haley Pulsipher, a University of Utah student graduating from the Actor Training Program with a BFA.
As a final right of passage, Pulsipher, who uses the gender pronouns “they” and “them,” has decided to present a self-written piece. They have always been drawn to playwriting, interested in “the creation of a world and sharing experiences through [the] work.”
“Submerge” is a piece that has long been coming for Pulsipher. It is about self-love, self-acceptance and the journey it takes to find these things.
