TEMPE, Ariz. - Utah Softball was able to make quick work of its two opponents on Saturday night at the Kajikawa Classic. The Utes topped Georgia State 9-0 in five innings before needing the same amount of time to dismiss Portland State, 8-0.

Utah 9, Georgia State 0 (5 innings)In the first game of the nightcap, the 1-3 hitters in the Utah lineup went 7-for-10, scoring four runs and driving in seven. Hannah Flippen had three hits, two runs scored and drove in three. The junior ended the game with a walk-off two-run laser over the left-field fence for Utah's first home run of the season.
