LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Utah Softball ran its winning streak to four games as it remained perfect at the DeMarini Desert Classic with a pair of victories. The Utes dominated UC Davis, 11-0, before besting Boise State, 9-1 in the second game.
Offensively, the Utes pounded out six home runs and hit .377 on the afternoon. Four Utes, Kristen Stewart, Hannah Flippen, Heather Bowen and Kay Kay Fronda, had multiple hits, runs scored and runs batted in.
Hailey Hilburn logged the most innings for the Utes today (five shutout innings) but did not register a result.
