SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah softball team landed three players on the NFCA All-Pacific Region teams, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Thursday morning.
Junior Hannah Flippen was named a first team selection while sophomore Katie Donovan and senior Kristen Stewart earned third team honors.
Utah's 10 all-region selections over the last three years set a record for the program.
Flippen became the first Ute player to earn back-to-back-to-back all-region honors since Sandy Rhea (1996-98). Rhea was also the last Utah player to earn first team honors three consecutive years.
