SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Utah junior Hannah Flippen was named the Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year and four other players earned postseason awards, the league office announced on Thursday.
Flippen was joined by classmate Anissa Urtez and sophomore Katie Donovan in earning All Pac-12 First Team honors and senior Shelby Pacheco paired with the Utah shortstop in garnering All-Defensive Team accolades. Ally Dickman picked up a spot on the All-Freshmen Team.
Flippen is Utah Softball’s fifth Player of the Year and first since joining the Pac-12.
