SALT LAKE CITY — National Signing Day is one of the most important days in college football, if not the most crucial day to collegiate football programs.
Fans eagerly awaited recruits’ announcements as their favorite team built its future Wednesday.
Utah football added 19 new recruits, including 14 incoming freshmen and five JUCO transfers. The offensive and defensive lines each picked up four recruits and the secondary shored up with five signees.
New to the Utes are quarterback Jason Shelley; running back TJ Green; wide receivers Jaylen Dixon and Bryan Thompson; offensive linemen Jordan Agasiva, Michael Richardson, Orlando Umana and Mo Unutoa; defensive backs Marquise Blair, Javelin Guidry, Jaylon Johnson and Tareke Lewis; linebacker Devin Lloyd; defensive tackle John Penisini; and defensive linemen Nick Ford, Taniela Pututau and Aliki Vimahi.
