SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah ski team travels to the RMISA Championship this weekend which doubles as the NCAA Western Regional meet, hosted by Denver from Feb. 26-27.
The meet begins with the men's and women's giant slalom races on Friday in alpine along with the women's 5-km and men's 10-km freestyle races in Nordic. On Saturday the meet closes out with the men's and women's slalom races along with the women's 15-km and men's 20-km classic races. The alpine races are held at Beaver Creek Resort with the Nordic races at Maloit Park.
“The team is really motivated for the NCAA Regional Championships,” Utah Director of Skiing Kevin Sweeney said.
